    We’re launching the iDAC Consultant Office Hours Series through the Consultant Cohort — a new initiative designed to provide greater transparency into how consulting firms evaluate managers, allocate capital, and make investment decisions.

    This first session will set the foundation for the series and offer practical insight into how managers can engage more effectively with consultants.

    This event is open to iDAC members only from the following cohorts:

    • Diverse-Owned & Emerging Asset Managers

    iDAC reserves the right to remove any registrant who does not meet eligibility requirements.

    What to Expect

    Each session follows a structured, one-hour format designed to be both informative and interactive:

    Consultant Overview (15–20 minutes)

    A senior consultant will provide insight into:

    • Their role and areas of responsibility, how their firm is structured and best practices for engaging with their firm
    • How manager research and client teams interact and investment decisions are made
    • Current client priorities and market trends and what types of managers are gaining traction

    Open Q&A (30–40 minutes)

    • Ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask


    Why Attend

    This series is designed to help investment managers:

    • Better understand how consulting firms operate and identify the right points of contact
    • Improve how they communicate their value proposition
    • Spend time more efficiently when engaging with consultants
    • Increase the likelihood of productive, well-aligned relationships

    At its core, this initiative supports iDAC’s mission of improving access, communication, and transparency across the investment ecosystem.

    “Beyond the Usual Suspects: Inside the Allocator Channels Smaller Managers May Be Missing”

    OCIOs, Endowments, Foundations, and Private Wealth open the door on how they work to maximize asset manager talent.

    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

    For many managers, particularly diverse and emerging asset managers, the fundraising map looks the same: a short list of known institutional names, familiar conference circuits, and introductions that circle back to the same room. But what about the allocators that emerging managers rarely reach? OCIOs, Endowments and Foundations, and Private Wealth platforms are sitting on a wave of growth and intergenerational capital transfer.

    This event exists to close that gap through direct, practitioner-led conversation with the allocators themselves. What do they look for? How do they decide? And what does it actually take to move from a first meeting to a commitment?

    Registration Information

    Early Bird registration rates are available through 11:59pm PT on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

    • LPs and Non Profits = complimentary
    • Consultant Member = $150 early bird / $200 standard / Non-Member = $750
    • iDAC Member = $2500 early bird / $2800 standard / Non-Member = $4,000
    • iDAC Small Firm Member = $1250 early bird / $1400 standard / Non-Member = $2500
    • Non-Working and Student Member = $50 early bird / $100 standard / Non-Member = $200

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    Due to contractual commitments, there will be no refunds after September 4, 2026

    Group Registration
